This Privacy Policy explains how Soonar, the Reddit buyer-intent monitoring service operated under the Soonar brand ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- What: Name, email address, and OAuth profile data (when signing in via Google).
- Why: To create and manage your account, authenticate sessions, and communicate with you.
2.2 Monitor Configuration
- What: Website URLs, product names, keywords, competitor names, target subreddits, and tone template preferences you provide when setting up a monitor.
- Why: To power the social listening service — discovering and scoring relevant conversations on your behalf.
2.3 Usage Data
- What: Daily signal view counts, AI reply generation counts, URL analysis counts, feature interactions, and timestamps.
- Why: To enforce plan quotas, improve the product, and generate aggregate analytics (never sold or shared for advertising).
2.4 Payment Information
- What: Subscription plan, billing interval, and payment method metadata (e.g., last four digits of card number). Full payment details (card number, CVV) are collected and processed exclusively by Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Why: To process payments and manage your subscription.
2.5 Device and Access Information
- What: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL (collected automatically via server logs).
- Why: To maintain security, prevent abuse, and optimize performance.
2.6 Cookies
- What: Session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
- Why: To keep you signed in and maintain session state.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information exclusively to:
- Operate and improve Soonar (monitor configuration, signal discovery, scoring, draft generation, email digests).
- Enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
- Send transactional emails (digest summaries, instant alerts, account notifications).
- Respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Soonar or its users.

When you cancel your subscription, signals beyond your new plan's retention window are automatically deleted by our scheduled cleanup process.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
- Encrypted data at rest (database-level encryption).
- HMAC-signed tokens for email unsubscribe links.
- OAuth 2.0 for third-party authentication; passwords are hashed when email sign-in is used.
- Regular dependency updates and security audits.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your signals and drafts (available on Pro and Growth plans via CSV export).
- Opt out of email communications via the unsubscribe link in every email, or from your notification settings.

8. Children's Privacy
Soonar is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Soonar is hosted using US-based infrastructure providers, and our subprocessors may process data in the United States or other regions where they operate. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision.
